Students from various departments across Shenandoah are collaborating with the Library of Congress to contribute to The Veterans History Project. We would like to know if you would like to participate.
As the site states:
The Veterans History Project at the Library of Congress collects, preserves, and makes accessible the firsthand recollections of U.S. military veterans who served in World War I through more recent conflicts and peacekeeping missions, so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand what they saw, did and felt during their service.
This interview could be conducted in the comforts of your home, on campus at Shenandoah, or at a location of your choice and will take about two hours of your time. We would be happy to share the questions being asked ahead of time.
This project will be featured in the new Hub for Innovators, Veterans & Entrepreneurs on Shenandoah’s main campus in Winchester, Virginia, as well as being housed at the Library of Congress where it will be accessible for family and friends to visit and experience.
